Terms of Service
By using OURS, you agree to these terms. They describe what we're responsible for, what you're responsible for, and how we'll resolve issues if something goes wrong.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing the OURS website or the OURS mobile app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
OURS is a community lending platform that lets registered users add items, invite trusted contacts, and coordinate borrow transactions inside a private circle.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.
4. Lending between users
OURS facilitates lending coordination but is not a party to any loan between users. Borrowers and lenders are responsible for their own arrangements, including damage, loss, and timely return of items.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use OURS for any unlawful purpose, to harass other users, to misrepresent items, or to attempt to circumvent our security measures.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OURS is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Mandatory consumer rights under German and EU law remain unaffected.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated via email or in-app at least 30 days in advance.
